I get made fun of because this :(

Excellent video. I am not allergic, but since I have Spina Bifida, I have latex precautions. Most people don’t even know what latex is, more people need to know.

i realized i was allergic when i got a rash from a ltex braclet my allergy is not as bad as ppl in this vid. lol condoms have latex but there are non latex condoms

Great video!

Thank you for posting this. I am allergic and it really sucks since other people do not understand.

Nice way to get the word around about latex allergies!

I have allergies to latex that effect my eyes severely. I stay so far away from it, it’s not funny!

You need to see a doctor. Testing yourself can be very dangerous. If you have a severe reaction it could kill you without proper medical treatment in time. Early detection can help to minimze worse long-term health problems. Please see a doctor to confirm this.

I think I have this, but I’m not 100% sure. To test my self, should I like wear a latex glove and see if anything happens, or is there a better way?

I have this allergy as well..it seems like you would develop an immunity if you were exposed to it often enough, but I guess not.

I have Spina bifida and also have Latex allargy. I try to stay away from thing’s blowing up bolloons and they have a use none latex gloves on me in the Hospital and dr’s appontments. I have also fegured out that if I am playing with my little brother with Play dough my hand will start iching some so I am trying to stay away from playdough also. This video is very helpful I have been woundering why most people with SB had this allergy I guess I know now why. Thanks for the video.

THANK YOU!!!!! I was diagnosed 13 years ago with NRLA. I appreciate your work to educate!! Melanie

In 1997, Malaysia was the major supplier for 150 years. Since then the plantation owners have been moving to other Southeast Asian countries due to “labor disputes”.
There have been other changes since 1997, but this is still a great awareness video. Thank you very much for your comment.

Excellent information in these two movies. One slight glitch: natural rubber now comes mainly from Thailand and Indonesia rather than Malaysia, but this minor inaccuracy does not affect the excellent information and advice contained in this video.
